Frankfort discussed how he grew Coach from a $6 million leather goods company into a $5 billion global lifestyle brand by blending consumer insight with data-driven creativity. Moderated by retail expert and New School faculty member Marie Driscoll, the evening offered insights on leadership, purpose, and what it takes to build brands that last.

National Retail Federation

NRF Foundation Student Program 2026

The NRF Foundation hosted the Student Program in New York City in January at the Marriott Marquis. The event gives college students the unique opportunity to launch their future careers in retail and experience all that the industry offers. Retail executives in marketing, merchandising, talent, entrepreneurship, sustainability, supply chain, technology and more share their stories, insights, and what they learned in their careers, and students explore various careers paths in the retail industry, meet with dozens of recruiters from their favorite brands and create visions for their futures, all in just four days.

Intro to MPS Fashion Management Orientation Week

Gromek Institute partners with MPS Fashion Management program’s Intro to Fashion Management Orientation Week course for the first time. This course introduces incoming students to fashion management. The Gromek Institute participated in a four-part lecture series which included: Introduction to the Gromek Institute for Fashion Business, What Is Fashion Management, Introduction to Justice in the Fashion Business, and What Is Tech. Together, these sessions lay a strong foundation for an engaging semester and underscore the values, capabilities, and perspectives shaping the future of the fashion industry.

MCM x Gromek Institute Back to School Campaign

Building off the success of Gromek Institute’s collaboration with MCM Worldwide, we are pleased to share MCM’s Back to School campaign this fall semester.

Our partnership began with MCM Chairperson, Mrs. Sung-Joo Kim’s masterclass on Global Leadership, followed by Mrs. Kim’s inspiring keynote speech at the School of Fashion’s commencement ceremony.

This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to education and supporting the next generation of fashion talent. 

The Institute offers programs and supports research related to business and management. The Institute explores areas of our rapidly changing economy, including topics related to systems and organizations, supply chain and design, sustainability, consumption, new technologies, labor, social justice. The Institute builds on a curricular suite of management offerings including the industry- leading Master of Professional Studies in Fashion Management as well as programs within the School of Design Strategies at Parsons.

Newark School of Fashion & Design

Parsons X Newark School of Fashion & Design High School 

The Parsons x NSFD collaboration is designed to offer NSFD students and faculty a forward-thinking approach to the Fashion & Design curriculum using Parsons’ Pedagogy and the guiding principles of sustainability, social justice, and collaboration through the fashion design process.  Using Parsons’ progressive approach to education, students will build a strong foundation in fashion guided by social and environmental imperatives to create innovative, ethical, and responsible fashion.  At completion, students will be equipped with the skills they need for an evolving field and intellectual development post high school.
